Nick Fullen-Collins, Founder/CEO
Nick Fullen-Collins – Got his start in Hollywood working as a Production Coordinator for Martin Lawrence’s successful comedy tour, Doin’ Time. Upon finishing that tour, Nick transitioned into working under the President and CEO of Queen Latifah’s production company, Flavor Unit Entertainment. During that time, Nick worked on the successful show, Single Ladies on VH1, as well as the critically acclaim, Emmy award winning HBO film, Bessie, which stared Queen Latifah. A year later, Nick worked at HBO in various departments, this includes the drama department, in which he worked for the Vice President who oversaw, Game of Thrones and Young Pope and the Talent/Development department, in which he helped manage and coordinate the 2015/2016 HBO Access writers and directors’ program. During his time at HBO, Nick realized how much of a passion he has with working with emerging writers and directors, as well as helping diverse talent which include: men and women of color get job opportunities within the industry.
In January 2017, Nick took a leap of faith and left HBO to launch his own production company, Artistic Vision Entertainment, in which he is developing, acquiring, and producing television and film content, while helping minority writers develop, package and sell their film/tv projects. The meaning behind the company is to always strive to create content with “artistic” value, while at the same time being bold enough to have a unique but specific “vision.”
In August, 2020, Nick had the pleasure to work on set of the music video to legendary hip hop artist, Nas’ first single, Ultra Black, from his Grammy award winning album, King Disease.
In 2021, Nick re-launched his company (during the pandemic) turning it into a multi-media company in which he is developing and producing digital content including, a film/tv podcast, Mic Check, that will highlight minority talent and executives within Hollywood as they share their journey within the industry all while given creative and business insight on how to create longevity within such a cut-throat industry.
Currently, Nick is developing a Cuban American Drama Series with creator/writer, George Perez, which was featured in the, 2022 Sundance Institute, Inaugural Latine Fellowship & Collab Scholarship.
